Air Data Probes, Air Data Sensors, and 3D Displacement Sensors
| Air Data Probes and Air Data Sensors |
 |
Air data probes and air data sensors obtain aircraft angle of attack (AOA, alpha), sideslip (AOS, beta), static pressure, total pressure (pitot static), outside air temperature (OAT), and total air temperature (TAT). Typical names for these devices are nose booms, wing booms, nosebooms, air data probes, pitot probes (pitot tubes), pitot-static probes (pitot-static tubes), trailing cones, and trailing bombs. These products provide pressure and airflow direction data to data acquisition and air data computers for computation of aircraft orientation, airspeed, altitude, and related information. |
| 3D Displacement Sensors |
 |
Easily-mounted 3D displacement sensors can be used as motion control sensors, coordinate measurement machines (CMMs), or digitizers. These displacement sensors offer fast setup, optional wireless interfacing, and out-of-the box functionality. Based on SpaceAge Control's 40 years of of 1D, 2D, and 3D position measurement heritage, the products are easily customized for specific applications. |
