PALMDALE, CALIFORNIA USA -- University students can now complete research and development projects requiring displacement measurement at lower cost and in less time when they participate in the SpaceAge Control Educational Transducer Program. The Educational Transducer Program lets students purchase up to four position transducer (displacement sensor) at a 50% discount.

Students are required to provide a copy of a thesis, term paper, research report, or other documentation describing the project and its conclusions. Recent projects include Formula SAE (Ohio State), Rose Parade Float animation (Cal Poly), solar vehicle development (UC Davis), robotic motion and control (MIT, Michigan State University), and autonomous aircraft flight control (UCLA, Stanford University).
